| CD recording Completed Well done to everyone who played at the CD recording last weekend. It was a long and tiring day but we all pulled together and did a wonderful job. The CD is currently being mastered by Warwick Ross, and will be available in the New Year, don't miss out on your copy! |

| Second Saturday Playouts back in the Mall October saw our second Saturday playouts return to Parramatta Mall. Along with great crowds, we were able to enjoy the atmosphere of the markets, and our training band also featured in support of the senior band. We look forward to your company from 10am on the second Saturday of each month, in Parramatta Mall. Browse the markets while enjoying musical entertainment from the band! |

| NSW State Championships Thankyou to everyone who worked so hard leading up to the State Contest. Our goal for the band this year was to continue to improve on last year's performance & to consolidate our position as a genuine middle to top of B Grade band. This goal was achieved. Our performance of a very difficult Test "The Day in the Life of a Knight" & Own Choice "Trittico" showed that we are now genuinely playing to at least a middle of B Grade standard & we are slowly working our way to the Top of the grade. With only two bands in the section at the States we came second in all items. The winning band showing that they are ready for a move up to A Grade in the not too distant future, meaning that we are well & truly moving towards the top of B Grade. |

Parramatta takes the challenge A very entertaining program by all the bands was capped with a second year win by Parramatta City Brass, conducted by Jonathan gatt, taking top spot for the second year running. Hosts Gosford took second place, followed by CNL brass. Can Parramatta make it a trifecta next year? |
